I belive it would be a good use to transform those materials into water sports gear such us the padding on surf boards.

Those materials that in general are made out of rubber, EVA and so on can easily be transformed into padding for surfboards, protections and even add a new line to your flip flop selection.

I believe the process won´t be neither complicated or expensive and you would be able to target a segment of the population that is very sensitive to this problems, the surfers. People that live in nature constantly and appreciate it.

It would be a problem solver for us surfers and would place Nike in our minds as a sustainable brand that cares for the worries of its customers.

Hope it´useful! I am open to any more help or suggestions.

Hi Jorge Fernández ,

Great to see you in the Challenge! I'm curious to hear more about your design to create surf boards or surfboard components from Nike Grind Materials. Can you share how, specifically, you would use Nike Grind and upload a scrappy, sketch of your concept?

Excited to learn more!
