Bicyclist protection on car hoods

Instead of demanding all bicyclists and pedestrians to wear helmets - make soft cushions mandatory for fitting on upper part of car hoods

Make a visual statement when you drive your car in cities - that you are concerned about your fellow citizens safety and well being. Fit a soft cushion as a thick customized blanket over your engine hood on your car - with designed logotype that signal safety and signal to others that you drive carefully and respect pedestrians and bicyclists personal safety and their space in the streets.

How is your idea innovative?

Changing the responsability from bicyclists and pedestrians onto car owners - those that pose largest risks to bicicylists and pedestrians health and safety. Could potentially influence much more car drivers to drive much more carefully and safely with more respect towards all in the streets.
