Play culptures for parks, public spaces, abandoned spaces and places for transit.

A sculpture of this kind is a way of givning back. Given the opportunity to feel curious, young, welcoming movement in a safe environment. 

What is more important than givning young and adults the opportunity to feel light, enjoy the company of others and most importantly oneself in a world of fantasy. 

Sculpture parks accessible to everyone. 

Play sculptures have the potential of improving quality of life. Inspires for play, play equal to development, development contrary to restriction of thought or action. Inspires creative thinking and creative play with others and oneself. Discovering ease of movement, room, spaciousness, texture, light and temperature.

How specifically will these materials be incorporated into your solution?

By creating the sculptures of solid blocks of rubber composite, safe, durable and strong structures can be constructed.

Describe your target market. Who will benefit from your product?

The market mainly consists of municipalities and larger real estate developers that can provide their public spaces with unique and defining art/play objects. Sculptures in recycled material contributes to position new public projects as innovative and environmentally conscious.

How will you scale your idea? Please describe in detail your plan to scale your concept.

Our offering will consists of a smaller but more expensive custom made objects and lower priced standard product for playgrounds. Both products can be sold through local representatives what also offer construction and maintenance services. Initially we will focus on the Swedish market while developing the manufacturing process with cooperation suppliers and.

How is your idea innovative?

Resent development in 3D milling has made it possible to create large, unique objects of solid material with complicated shapes. This technology is used today to make full sized models of cars and trucks for the automotive industry and could be used to mill play sculptures out of large blocks of reused rubber. The same material that is used today as playground flooring could be used to create large soft objects to climb and play on.

What inspired this idea?

Our core team consist of Marie Nordengren, creative doer and Harald Hynell, product designer and marketing guy. We have created products together in other contexts and saw this as an opportunity to work together again.
