Hey Laboni

I think this is a really good idea especially now that supermarkets (in Australia) are phasing out the idea of using plastic bags. You mentioned that you will partner with other retail markets to replace their plastic bags.

This idea is definitely scalable, so have you thought about who will assist you/your business in expanding the product out to other countries. E.g. Who will help get the product from the manufacturer to customers internationally?

Hi, Laboni
This idea looks pretty cool, it is environment friendly and looks so fashion as well, there is a saying: when u go and buy a bunch of flowers, the most important thing is flower basket instead of flowers, i think people prefer to go shopping with this kind of fashion bag. I have two questions for your product: 1- What do you think whats the best strategy to attract customers towards your product?

Hi Laboni,
I'm really curious and would like to discuss your business model in greater detail. Especially, there are plenty of opportunities of collaborations/partnerships. What are your thoughts about getting into the market or expand the market share?

I really appreciate your efforts and wish you good luck,

This is a really good idea and will definitely be a requirement as plastic bags start being phased out! Just wondering if you have an idea what the price for bag would be around? very interested in your concept and excited to see where it goes!

Hi Ali
Thank you for the comment.
I am glad you like the idea. We have a range of products on offer here, where the prices depend on the size of shopper and the technique used to create it. We will be sharing price and distribution channels where the bags can be purchased, very soon. So watch this space.

Brilliant idea! Very attractive designs! I'd love to go shopping with those. From a practical point of view, I'd like to know the carrying capacity more specifically - what weight is medium/heavy? And what were the outcomes of your early testing?

Photo of Laboni

Hi Winnie
Thank you for your comment.
We are creating a range of shoppers where size and holding capacity of the bags will vary and can be suited for different purpose.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any other thoughts. Please feel free to share with us. X

It is a very good idea as plastic bags will soon be stopped in many countries. I am just wondering how is your recycled bag's durability? If it can last for a long period, it is good for consumers' experience, but not good for the business profitability.

Photo of Laboni

Hi Serena
Thank you for your comment. I totally agree, that durability is a key element in products like this. While we will ensure a reasonable length of durability across the range offered. Certain items will have more longevity than others, and this will be reflected on the price of the item as well. I hope this answers your question. If you have any other thoughts, please feel free to share with us.

With plastic bags soon to be a thing of the past in Australia and soon in Sydney. There is a great need to have alternatives and more user friendly designs that will be a go to for reusable bags.

Hello Hoa

Thank you for your comment. Couldn't agree more.
Research is indeed showing the increasing demand in plastic-free solutions, across the consumer groups, globally. Of course the Australians are perhaps ahead of the league in embracing the switch.

This is great, and while there are lots of reusable bags out there, I think using Nike Grind materials would make for a very interesting product.
We upcycle mostly plastic goods and plastic bags are a real pain!
It is interesting how, before the time of plastic bags, people used to use netting and rope bags when they did their shopping, now we're realising the value in going back to a pre-plastic time with post-plastic materials!
Good luck!
Please check out our proposal too - there could be interesting ways for us to cross-collaborate in the future in terms of skills exchange and design/making...

Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, absolutely agree we are going back to the old school pre-plastic ways, but it is exciting the scale at which we can incorporate this change in the current time, thanks to platforms such as @Openideo and support from global brands like @Nike. Exciting times ahead. Thank you & good luck to you too
