cupsol is a digital currency backed by recycling. They collect onetime use beverage containers through the crypto reward-based app platform and smartRecycler bins. For every user who uses the cupsol platform, will receive unlimited 25¢ drink discounts and cupsol crypto reward credits worth up to 25¢ per recycled one-time use beverage containers. Then the cupsol users can use their crypto reward credits to donate it to charity or spend it on eco-friendly products, eco-friendly services, and other eco-friendly experiences provided by cupsol vendors, recyclers, partners, sponsors, and the cupsol user's community.

This solution addresses which of the following:

  • Hot / Cold Fiber Cup
  • Cup Liner
  • Some of the Above
  • Reusable System

How is your concept recoverable?

By recycling through the cupsol smartRecycler, cupsol will collect the recycled materials with partnerships with the today's major recycling companies to be reused. Once after the collected materials are recycled and remanufactured through the proper channels, then businesses and partners may use their cupsol crypto credit to purchase back the recycled one-time use beverage containers from cupsol manufacture and distribution partners.

How have you incorporated additional sustainability attributes (beyond recoverability) into your solution?

One of the main goals of cupsol is to encourage users to recycle often than normal by creating the users recycle scores. The users recycle scores allows the users to see how they are doing compared to other users and encourage the users to be competitive with one another to recycle rather than throw away in the trash bins. cupsol also creates a competitive recycle scores between businesses by seeing which business can be the one to fully establish a 100% recycling score with their customers.

What regions do you plan to address with your solution (and how will you accomplish this)?

cupsol will like to partner with major food chains, major drink suppliers and pilot the cupsol cryptocurrency recycling program in the New York City, NY and in Boston, MA. After the successful pilot program, cupsol plans to expand into the major cities worldwide.

Describe your target market. Who will benefit from your product?

cupsol targets users that visit and purchases onetime beverage cups either from a small cafe to large restaurant chains to major drink suppliers. As the users participate with cupsol they will receive the 25¢ discount for buying drinks, and a crypto reward credit worth up to 25¢ for recycling the containers. Users can crypto reward to buy products that are offered on the app platform. The businesses that partner up with cupsol will benefit greatly through drink discount reimbursements, bulk recyclable product discounts, high customer retention, competitive recycling reward programs, key recycling data points, other important features which can make a positive change for the environment.
