A classical paper cup is covered with the wax coat inside instead of the currently existing plastic liner. Already used cups are collected in special cup bins in cafes and restaurants. They are further transported to recycling facilities where Waxups are heated. When the temperature reaches melting point wax flows down into wax storage, and processed cups without wax coating go to recycling (chopping to a pulp with further production of new paper-based items).
Collected wax is reused in new Waxup production or sold for other purposes.
