In theory, the Global Cup Effects system will be effective in all sorts of ways. It is aimed to educate people all around the world about the negative effects that plastic cups have on the environment. It is more of a service than a product. A group of intelligent individuals educated in environmental science and who care for the planet will lead this project. This group will need their trip expenses and research funded by sponsors who believe in the cause. In advance, advertisements will be shown in many countries saying when the "Global Cup Effects" group will meet to talk to them. This meets all the health, safety, and performance standards for a service.

This solution addresses which of the following:

  • Reusable System
  • Other

How is your concept recoverable?

People around the globe would me more likely to recycle the to-go fiber cup because they will be more educated on how not recycling negatively effects their lives.

How have you incorporated additional sustainability attributes (beyond recoverability) into your solution?

The solution uses environment-educated scientists to educate regular people

What regions do you plan to address with your solution (and how will you accomplish this)?

I plan to address my solution in most of regions. The target will be to meet regions near large bodies of water because the effects of plastic waste is more severe in those areas.

Describe your target market. Who will benefit from your product?

People of all ethnicities, ages, and beliefs will benefit from this solution. I users will listen to the very informational presentation and perform some activities. They will benefit by recycling their plastic cups because they're more knowledgeable, and therefore help their planet. The design considerations include the effects of recycling and no recycling simulations. Studies show that people are more likely to benefit from information if they can interact with it.
