Please include a visual (can be either 2D or 3D) representation/prototype of your concept. (required)

our system is about encouraging people to  recycle by rewarding them for their contribution to recycling. we can have companies like Starbucks,Tim Hortons etc.. to give people some kind of reward or free drink for bringing back the cup they got when they bought their coffee or other dink that require plastic cups. once they bring an amount of number of cups (around five cups) back at the same time, they can get a reward. this project will help people participate more in recycling and not to just throw away their cups.

This solution addresses which of the following:

  • Some of the Above
  • Reusable System
  • Other

How is your concept recoverable?

people wouldn't be just throwing them away they would be sending their cups were they came from and be recycle the proper way.

How have you incorporated additional sustainability attributes (beyond recoverability) into your solution?

Our solution will encourage recycling so that less cups end up in landfills.

What regions do you plan to address with your solution (and how will you accomplish this)?

We plan to start in North America. We could start partnerships with companies like Starbucks, Panera, Tim Horton's and Coffee Bean. For different states or countries coffee consumption is at a high. We should incorporate different number of drinks to get a free one. For example in Michigan it could be bring in 5 cups and get your free drink but in New York it could be bring in 12 cups and get your free drink.

Describe your target market. Who will benefit from your product?

Just about everybody. There will be less garbage in the landfills. People will be happier and have an incentive to bring in cups instead of throwing them in the waste. The companies will also benefit, people may drink more coffee knowing that they could get their sixth one free.

if a people just want to have a chill for a coffee, he has to bring the coffee and back home for collecting? Is it any recycling station or spot can be established for more convenient and can be set in the partnerships stores?
