What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

There is a clear need for an accessible and basic support system for new parents of intellectually disabled children. This investment in time energy and resources will enable families to be self empowered, resulting in a quality of life one can only imagine for our most vulnerable population.

How does this research relate to our use cases and personas?

It provides insights into a population of parents and children who could benefit with programs and support that is not readily or easily available or accessible.

I am a healthcare information technology professional, single parent, and fierce mama of two amazing sons. Welcome to Holland by Emily Pearl Kingsley-1987 is my reality and I want to pay it forward.
