A place for parents and children to enjoy different activities that encourage a sense of community and well being. This center would provide an art therapy room, pet therapy, meditation and yoga space, a tea room and fresh vegetable garden. It would provide an outlet for feelings, relaxation and good nutrition all helpful for a balanced life.

Hi Lauren,

I think the user persona my idea aligns with would be The Under-Resourced Mom.

Some of the next steps to get feedback on my concept would be to post a sign at public libraries or colleges asking mothers to be or new moms to take an anonymous online survey. Also a visit to Birthright International may be a good resource as they offer information and referrals to help clients meet their emotional & material needs.
