For expectant and new moms that have concerns and anxieties that linger, who yet also believe in the power of their own wisdom; pregnancy coaching provides guidance and tools to uncover your parenting values and your unique ways of being a parent. With clarity about what's most important to you, you can release pressures to do it all and feel grounded in your choices.

At what stage is your idea?

  • Piloting: I have started to implement my solution as a whole with a first set of real users.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

I've spoken at moms' groups and local prenatal yoga studios, providing group coaching. I've written and published a book. Have a website up and running: www.lovingthepregnantyou.com.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

Educating moms on the importance of emotional and mental well-being and the role of a Coach. Access to various networks. How to scale.

I've had my own training and development consulting and leadership coaching company for the past 15 years. www.shoopconsulting.com This business provides me with full-time work.
