Would you be able to tell me more about 'Helping to source for materials or manual for training the traditional birth attendant/local midwives'?

Is this for a certain geography, region etc.?

Is there any chance you could find an image to go along with your post? Images help grab attention and tell a story. You should be able to use the Edit Contribution button on the top of your post and follow the instructions to add images from there. Looking forward to seeing more of your inspiring insights on OpenIDEO.

Rural women in most Nigerian state don't have access to obstetricians or other trained health care workers. Many live in rugged localities and villages far from health facilities. For rural families with limited resources, traditional birth attendants (TBAs) have played a vital role in helping women deliver their babies. Yet TBAs traditionally receive no formal training or knowledge of safe labor and delivery practices, and have little to no understanding of mother-to-child HIV transmission.
We hope to develop unique mobile training platform in Nigeria (althogh,it will be accessibleto all) that will benefits everyone(pregnant women, mothers, babies and care givers ), creating a stronger health system, building TBA skills, and reducing HIV transmission and other childbirth related problems.
