Community Health Workers compete to develop creative slogans & images to improve maternal health in India's Jharkhand.

Late last year almost 300 CHW's gathered to improve maternal and newborn health – armed with art supplies and creative ideas to develop behaviour change communication tools. A context was held to elicit slogans and images which would resonate with communities – aiming to have effective health practices widely understood and adopted. A panel of doctors, public health professionals and government officials judged the competition. Read full article:
