What's really amazing about Farmgate is they feature their producers right up front – on their wine labels. "“Farmgate is about a community – a community shaped by geography but made from people“

They go on to explain on their website...
"It is at the end of the dirt road at the beginning of a long driveway. It's the meeting point between locals who care so much about what they produce, and the opportunist who stops and tastes the best the land can produce." http://www.farmgate.co.nz/

Many folks are have been highlighting the loss of our connection to food production and producers. What other ways can we find to champion those who are so integral to our end-point consumption? Imagine if, in the context of this challenge, we could elevate them to the status that some of Australia's sporting heros enjoy?

Kudos to the fab folk at Alt Group who came up with branding for New Zealand's Farmgate. Keeping in mind that branding is *what people say about you once you've left the room* – I think they've made major strides for Farmgate here. Memorable, meaningful and infused with integrity. I think it is imperative that we know where our food comes from. This is a great idea to get people acquainted with the producers that put so much passion into their product!
