Local radio TV

Lets get local broadcast media on board. It could be organised some free spaces close to the fields on some different farms. They could perform much of their normal programs and news, but outsourced to the nature.

In these times of high technology, we sometimes tend to leave out older media that reaches almost 100% of inhabitants in the region.

And I think normal talk radio could work, and also regular daytime TV presenters could stand in a field, with a natural backdrop, much like weathermen that sometimes go outside. Or start themed programming that invites different local farmers to sit in a couch next to a celebrity while talking about food, wine, weather, climate change...

But I guess that OpenIDEO-community can list many more ideas for programming that are closer involved with farming issues, celebrating local area and highlights better the value of some other of the concepts in the long list of great proposals.

Perhaps it could be built a combined "roof-top-farm-and-studio" on top of any of the existing local TV-studios?
