Upload the Design Brief Deliverables

The project is about showcasing the talent of students at the global level irrespective of their infrastructural and economic conditions with the help of digital media but by retaining the beauty of hand strokes(analog). First and second prototypes will be successfully tested with the children's in the schools and as per feedback I have modified my design and comes with final design which will be more suitable for the both users as well as maintenance authority.

Why do you want to be OpenIDEO's Visual and User Experience Designer?

To understand more about the role of designer at different levels how they help to make the planet more livable with their new experiments and design ideas. Currently, I am completing my Post Graduation (M.Des) in New Media Design from National Institute of Design(NID), India and I want to explore more about user experiences at different levels with different mediums and I think IDEO will be a good platform for that.

How many years of experience do you have?

  • I just graduated grad school and have less than 3 years of experience in design

How did you hear about this challenge?

Initially by Email and then after OpenIDEO website

What did you learn when developing the deliverables in response to the design brief?

Designing is important but explaining your design is much more important. Unless and until you will not able to explain your designs properly to the user/audience it's almost useless. With developing the deliverable in response to the design brief I learned to showcase my design more effectively among the audience with the help of various mediums (image, poster, text, video) and make them think about the situation and importance of design.

what’s in your mind ?

“What’s in your mind?” is the project for government primary schools of India. This project helps the school and the students to showcase their work on the national and international platform irrespective of their infrastructural and economic conditions.

The whole idea will come from the reference of “Google Expedition” where Google wants to deliver the kits to thousands of schools, initially in California, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom for the educational purpose. But again this programme will be might not work in Indian context due to various restrictions of Indian context on a such a large scale of the country level that’s why I want to provide an alternative solution for this schools in a cost effective and simple manner which suit the Indian context and help students to connect and showcase their works on the bigger platforms in the limited resources. This project will also help to connect inside school to the outside world
