Individual posters connected in space stands for interaction between people.
To engage with the audience and encourage participation, I designed a character who will ask questions(challenges) with a voice to hear your thoughts. This character gives the participant the sense of hearing from their friends.
Collaborations among participants in OpenIDEO create inventions and service that influence the shape of our lives. To make this process even more synergetic, we need more people who have a various background. To facilitate this, I designed the poster and the landing page with the theme of “Expand our circle impact”
Why do you want to be OpenIDEO's Visual and User Experience Designer?
I’ve known OpenIDEO for quite awhile. I think that the OpenIDEO is an experimental and compelling platform built by diverse people who love to improve our society and life. Many challenges took me out of from my provincial world. But, honestly, I was staying as an observer until I found about this challenge.
As a non-native speaker, I know how difficult it is to read a ton of text and write in different languages. If I can help people as a designer, it will be the meaningful opportunity.
How many years of experience do you have?
More than 5 years of experience
How did you hear about this challenge?
What did you learn when developing the deliverables in response to the design brief?
First, I was able to improve my understanding about OpenIDEO through research and analysis. Through the entire design process, I learned that not only the aesthetics of the landing page but also the connection to the other pages are important to attract people to participate.
