What is inclusion for you?
A digital space inside OpenIDEO, open to everyone, focused on sharing, celebrating and promoting inclusion.
Upload the Design Brief Deliverables
When I think about inclusion I think of a space that can be built collaboratively, collecting images, thoughts and ideas - a space where everyone has a voice. My proposal is a digital space, where citizens and organizations can freely contribute content. Their contribution will "take over" the space, until the next contributor comes in to do the same. It's like an open mic, where each voice comes, leaves a contribution and opens the space to the next act. Posts are organized chronologically.

Why do you want to be OpenIDEO's Visual and User Experience Designer?
I possess top tier experience in UX/UI in different industries like Museum, Financial and Agencies. I love brainstorming, sketching, wireframing, prototyping and testing possible solutions for the problems I am presented. I graduated from ITP - NYU where I worked on projects that span several areas of HCI. I believe designers play a huge part in making this a better world and I want to use my work to influence people for the better, towards a society with less prejudice and more acceptance.
How many years of experience do you have?
More than 5 years of experience
How did you hear about this challenge?
My NYU alumni list.
What did you learn when developing the deliverables in response to the design brief?
I have always been thinking about ways to make a positive impact with my work and influence users to take action towards a worthy cause. In this project I did quite a bit of research into organizations that focus on inclusion and social issues and I learned a lot about the different initiatives out there. It made me think of the vast potential to positively influence people while working at a company like OpenIDEO and I was just so excited to get a taste of that during this challenge!
