Why do you want to be OpenIDEO's Visual and User Experience Designer?

Though user experience design encompasses visual media, it certainly does not end there. As our world becomes more diverse, it is important to learn how to design for audiences with different backgrounds and abilities. This includes, but is not limited to, people who are blind, people who hard-of-hearing, and people who speak multiple languages. Working with OpenIDEO and the global audiences they serve will give me the opportunity to learn from and contribute to the art of inclusive design.

How many years of experience do you have?

What did you learn when developing the deliverables in response to the design brief?

I designed the platform around natural conversations, the source of many eureka moments and insights. By optimizing the website for mobile devices, I was able to combine the ease of speaking with the ubiquity of smartphones, making it seamless for users to contribute their thoughts and ideas on the platform.

I also learned the importance of providing multiple forms of communication, such as language translation and audio recordings, in addition to text, in order to reach diverse populations.

Simply make them university affiliated/owned professional sports teams. Already, top players or writeter from are starting to learn they can attract top dollar playing in foreign leagues instead of making a lot of money for a university.
