Why do you want to be OpenIDEO's Visual and User Experience Designer?

I have always wanted to work on Open Ideo challenges and for some reason always slacked off. I actively work on social domain and changing perception from negative to positive. When I saw this challenge, I felt that this was my time to participate.

How many years of experience do you have?

  • Less than 3 years of experience

How did you hear about this challenge?

On the Open Ideo website

What did you learn when developing the deliverables in response to the design brief?

OpenIDEO has partnered with a couple of foundations to launch an open innovation Challenge focused on diversity and inclusion. In this particular context, I learned that visual media could be used to narrate a dialogue in your mind with the unknown and still feel that you know them.

For addressing a diverse community to share their ideas, concepts or just insights worldwide, I thought the toughest task would be to get them to engage to either share or contribute to other submissions.

Therefore after a lot of visual brainstorming, I realized that the most impactful solution would be to engage them in a narrative as if they are talking to someone and in that continuation, they share their thought.
