RiotRescue.com - matchmaking for needs and for offers to help

The RiotCleanUp inspiration is excellent, but I also wanted to highlight @riotrescue and http://riotrescue.com/ It is especially geared towards helping UK businesses, but importantly it breaks down needs into specifics and matches them with help.

The key idea here is matchmaking between specific needs and specific offers for help. By being able to help by donating their surplus, or their special expertise, the threshold to participate and help is much lower (either because it is cheaper for you, or because you feel you are making a real impact).

This is from their page:

RiotRescue.com has been set up in response to the terrible riots in London, Leeds, Birmingham and other UK cities.

These riots have affected many small businesses who will now struggle to get back on their feet.

RiotRescue.com is a place for those businesses to come and get help from other businesses, local or otherwise.

Just like the cleanup going on right now, we are a community that will help each other.
