Polio Eradication Drive Polio Eradication Drive
The goal of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative is to ensure that no child will ever again know the crippling effects of polio. India signed up with WHO to support this cause. India is currently only two states away from being polio free . This indeed is a great feat.



The National Polio Surveillance Project, which was launched in 1997, provides technical and logistic assistance to the Government of India, and works closely with state governments and a broad array of partner agencies(UNICEF,rotary,world bank etc; ) to achieve the goal of polio eradication in India.

We could build on similar lines to promote bone marrow donations.I am sure more people will have their experience and inputs on this.
