Help the donor along

Based on Nathan's experience, let's redesign the donor process so that their questions are answered.

It sounds as though the donor process was a bit surprising in places. E.g., why must I swab all of my cheek? Re-thinking the materials so that they explain the "whys" might remove some of the obstacles. After all, every question raises a doubt and is another chance for the user to drop off. How about if the kit came in a different pack to make it stand out, and was organized in a step by step process with two questions answered for each:

Why... it helps us

While we're at it, why don't we dress up the envelope it comes in so that it doesn't look like junk mail? The Red Envelope brand comes to mind, or any package that looks a little special (and fits through the mail slot). Why not use this as a chance to thank the donor and make him feel special?
