Gain Fans Through (Church) Fans

Taking advantage of a captive, spiritual audience, promote becoming a bone marrow donor on church fans and pass them out at services for free.

The sermon can include a testimonial from a bone marrow donor or recipient, followed by a spirit-rising call to arms by the priest.

Once the church-goers are inspired, they can simply glance down at their take-home fans to learn how to donate via the advertising information on the fan.

Since many religious gatherings are ethnic-centric, fans can be targeted towards under-represented populations in the donor database.

I think this could really work in certain communities. I was a missionary in Sacramento and we had several church congregations that were predominantly Southeast Asian based. As with any church, they were constantly looking for ways to help. I think it would be as simple as pitching the concept to the leadership of the congregation. Perhaps combine it with another service activity, say a blood drive?
