Fashionable Donors

My concept is to have full-page PSA s/ awareness adds so to speak in all fashion magazines such as Marie Clair, Essence, Cosmopolitan, and others. The readership of fashion magazines among women between the ages 17-35 is fairly high. So, I think reaching people through their source of information is key. The ads would feature various influential celebrities as well as non-celebrities, particularly individuals who are in need of the bone marrow transplants, would not only be bring awareness,showing that everyone from all walks of life are involved, but would also make the issue more real when attaching a face to the issue.

The individuals in the ads would wear white tees with the same slogan as the ad itself. And second, the individual would be posed holding a swab in their mouth to show the simplicity, the efficiency, and the amicable nature of the procedure. There would also be information displayed on the page telling people where they can go to donate funds, or blood, and/or register to be a donor.

Wonderful! This has worked for PETA's anti-fur campaigns. The average person is more inclined to participate if their most admired celebrity is a spokesperson.
