Be inspired by what's abundant

Sandy's chalk board idea made me wonder whether we can start with the things that are most abundant - used cans, tyres... What else?

Sandy's chalk board idea made me wonder whether we can start with the things that are most abundant - used cans, tyres... Cans are often used to make trinkets / toys and in Africa I remember seeing the Masai convert used tyres into shoes. What are the most abundant things that we can harness?

Here's an article from the BBC that talks about the use of tyres in Tanzania: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/3655022.stm

Feel free to 'build on this' or comment with other abundant items we could harness
