Makedo is a set of 'connectors' for creating amazing stuff by recycling what's around you. Basically it helps you join things together to make things – kinda like Lego but they only provide the connectors not the building units.
Makedo have teacher resources and lesson plans in the pipeline. They run competitions and host Making Parties. Plus they won the Treehugger Reader's Choice Selection in this year's Best of Green Awards.
Yet another inspiration around leveraging what's abundant while unleashing creativity. What other ways can we think of to motivate 'making' by those with limited resources?
