Let the kids pick out the produce and put it in their special shopping cart.

You know how some stores have miniature shopping carts for the kids to follow mom and dad with - they should also have some produce where these kids can reach it and fill their own cart. They could even rotate different kinds of produce so that each trip the kids are choosing different things. The kids might really take ownership of that item and can't wait to try it when they get home!

Age of kids. The solutions to changing kids’ eating behaviors will vary depending on their age. What works for a toddler won’t necessarily fly for a teenager, although we suspect some concepts might be appropriate for all ages—even adults!
