As Sanjay Sarma, Dean at MIT described it; "We're democratizing access to a master’s program for learners worldwide,”.
A better way to get material to students on demand with ability to take pauses/breaks when needed and repeat sections if needed. Professors will be able to record when it fits their schedule and basic courses, which are unlikely to change much can be reused.

Important to create a learning environment in connection to the online courses with study groups and mentors.

Key part will be for universities to be flexible and give credit from courses living up to the their standards (should be pre-populated).

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

No reason to have 500 students travel to an auditorium with hand written notes from professor and having students attempt to mirror http://ideas.ted.com/daphne-koller-on-the-future-of-education/ http://www.brookings.edu/blogs/techtank/posts/2015/02/23-mooc-google-coursera-butler https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2015/10/07/mit-floats-a-new-online-credential-the-micromasters/

Hello Jens! I'm totally agree with you. We are living in XXI century and using all modern technologies for our comfort so why we cant do the same thing for our educational process. Local study is important for 100% but trully it can be combined with online courses or even already written papers which could be got here: https://vip-writers.com , for example). I hope your idea will be accepted.
