Brawn over Brains

In the United States, a huge chunk of our tax money is spent on the military, while Education is put on the back-burners.

$664 Billion dollars are set aside yearly on our military budget. $621 Billion is set aside for Education. While the education field seems to be well-funded, its just not proportional. We spend exponentially more on our military budget than any other country i the world, and reducing it's budget would still leave us as the best funded. If we altered the percentages, we could drive down the price of state college tuition while suffering minimal regressions in the military field.
