Who is the target audience for your idea and how does it reimagine the cost of college?

Our target audience are all young graduates students of the high school who wish to access higher education and who can not access this by lack of resources. Our idea is to design a global platform that allows these students to connect and register to an academic program without cost.

We want to improve access and coverage of education globally, allowing it to be inclusive and that is not limited to monetary factors, contributing to the integral formation of people with enough knowledge in the service of the problems and challenges facing current society . How? Through the creation of a free global platform that connects students and teachers around the world, allowing the first to receive academic training in specific professional areas, as happens in traditional universities. These programs will be taught by professors of universities, which were linked to the platform through social responsibility programs generated by the universities themselves, so these teachers would have to spend some of their working hours to the platform, it would be certified by the universities.

A special feature is for students, because they have to draft a enterprise project ,which should be brought to real life in order to get a professional title. Those projects can be showed to companies around the world (our partners), which either can finance their projects or provide employment opportunities, which also helps solve the problem of youth unemployment.

Angelica,
I like how the students complete a project to connect the learning with companies. In terms of impact, it may be smart to research similar programs. Creating a new type of university would be quite a bit of work! Any ideas of ways to test the program on a small scale?

Testing on a small scale means to 'prototype' it. You create a stripped down version of your product or service and go out and test it with users. You can find more info on how to Rapid Prototype here: http://www.designkit.org/methods/26

For your project you could create a User Experience Map: https://d3gxp3iknbs7bs.cloudfront.net/attachments/b672d809-2fa6-4081-be64-26430343928a.pdf

And then use it to go out and get feedback from users. Good luck!

Angelica, those are great suggestions from Alexandra. It'd be great to flesh out this idea through the User Experience Map and Rapid Prototyping tips.

Great Alexandra! Thank you for your idea, but I do not about that! I will try to do that
