Internships to Future Careers

A student will get an internship, then if he or she decides to make it as a careers, the company will pay for their education.

Who is the target audience for your idea and how does it reimagine the cost of college?

Our targets are high school students. Having the company that you intern for pay for your education in college will motivate you to keep pursuing the career that you desire and not have to worry about how much it cost. Then after going through college, you start to work for that company and pursue experience.

Step 1: Find internships through websites or your school counselor

Step 2 : Apply to your desired internship

Step 3: If you got it the internship, then do the internship and have fun!

              (If not, repeat step 1 and 2)

Step 4 : Decide if it is something you'd want to do when you're grown

Step 5 : If yes, then them the company that you would like to work for them.

Step 6 : They'll offer you money, scholarships and workshops to get your education, so later on you'll work for them.

What early, lightweight experiment can you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

Experiments : * offer students some internships or help them find one that they'd like to do * talk to companies if they are willing to accept students and pay for their education (we can go little by little if needed)

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

i really like this idea however i was wondering if you had put any thought into what kind of education the company would fund (i.e. traditional university courses or once of workshops) and what you would have to do to incentivise them to spend more money on interns (i.e. perhaps interns have to commit x amount of years to work at the company)?
