Providing access to trusted, culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate health information to Latina moms-to-be is of great importance to the work of the March of Dimes--improve the health of all babies.

Using technology allows us to reach a wider audience in the spaces they're in. This iPad app, Mis 9 meses, delivers much needed trusted health information to this key demographic in a comprehensive and interactive way. The app offers users articles and videos on pregnancy and newborn care. It also includes a section that shows how a baby grows month by month and the changes that happen throughout the nine months.

In addition, it incorporates an audio component to the Words to Know section so that users can hear how the words are said and their definitions. Furthermore, additional resources are offered throughout the content for women to get additional information.

The free app can be found on iTunes at:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mis-9-meses/id525758679?mt=8&ls=1

Hi Lilliam. This is great! Thank you for posting it here. I plan to share!
I love the idea of the audio component.
Does the app include a section on breastfeeding? Evidence appears to show that breastfeeding is moderately protective against childhood overweight and obesity. (Linking these references for those who are interested.)
