Slowly increasing the load on the bones, we avoid micro-traumas that can become the start of a future fracture.

What challenges or opportunities are you trying to address within the problem? (200 characters or less)

Our lift is designed to prevent fractures of the bones and vertebrae of the spine.

Who is your target end user and why will they be interested? (650 characters or less)

Practically all elderly people can be our clients, because with the age, everyone has difficulty getting out of bed. Disease prevention is always more beneficial than its treatment. And if in the case of osteoporosis,if we can deal with its prevention, then why don't we do that. Moreover, if a person still gets injured somewhere, then our lift will become even more useful to him during physiotherapy during process of healing bones!

How is your idea scaleable? (650 characters or less)

The design of our lift is modular. We can offer a wide range of products from the most primitive lift for $ 100 to a computerized installation for $ 10'000+. For all segments of the population from the poorest to the richest. Before old age everyone is equal.

What do/will you measure to know if your solution worked? (500 characters or less)

The presence of bone fractures is always easier to count than the absence of bone fractures. And since our lift is PROPHYLACTIC, we cannot give an objective assessment. But purely subjectively, ALL its users will be pleased with it every morning they get up from the bed.

What is the current stage of development of your idea?

  • Prototype: We have done some small tests or experiments with prospective users to continue developing the idea.

If you were to become a Top Idea, would you want to actively participate in piloting your idea?

  • I want my idea piloted, and I prefer to do my own piloting in collaboration with the health system and with assistance from the Challenge partner
  • I want my idea piloted, but I’d prefer not to be involved in the pilot and prefer that the health system adopts my idea for piloting with assistance from the Challenge partner

The means at our disposal allow us to work only with small-sized models. But in this case, one of the small industrial enterprises took up the manufacture of a full-sized prototype unit.
