Healthcare access is still a major global issue for millions of people – join us in refining six promising ideas working to change this!

More than 2 billion people worldwide currently cannot access the medicines they need, and over 400 million lack access to essential health services. Healthcare access will only be improved if local health system challenges are identified and addressed to ensure that medicines and services are available when and where they are needed, at the local community level.

To help tackle this, Sandoz launched Sandoz HACk − Healthcare Access Challenge − to generate ideas and solutions with the power to make a tangible and impactful difference. For its inaugural year, Sandoz HACk encouraged young creative thinkers across the globe to share ideas that use mobile technology to connect people to better health.

From approximately 150 entries, six finalists have been chosen to submit their idea to our OpenIDEO community. Now we’re asking you to collaboratively strengthen these ideas, helping them achieve even greater impact.

Over the next six weeks, we ask that you take a look at the six ideas and provide your comments and feedback to help them evolve. The six finalists will then present their refined idea to a panel of judges at WIRED Health 2017 and the three most compelling ideas will win seed funding and mentorship to help make their idea a reality.

Healthcare access is still a major global issue for millions of people – be part of improving healthcare access by helping our finalists bring their ideas to life!

During our feedback phase, we’re asking you to share your comments, questions and thoughts to help strengthen and evolve our finalists’ ideas. Check out the six ideas in our Feedback phase and join a conversation. Leave your feedback and insights to help shape the evolution of each idea.

Yes, i agree with you health problem is all over the world problem, Every year thousands of people are died due to a health issue. There is another reason the lack of doctors. Due to increase population, the majority of the doctor is low. Overall thanks for the awareness.

Of course, mobile technology will help us to improve the healthcare access. I am sure that almost everyone these day has a smartphone. And with the current data plans provided by the telecom providers, everyone has got to be internet enabled on their phones. This gives them a wide access to healthcare.
