How do you express gratitude without saying "Thank you"?

Together with a group of colleagues, we had the opportunity to interview a few people at the street on our topic “Gratitude at the workplace”. Hereby some of the highlights:

  • It wasn’t easy for them to remember or easily to identify a moment in which they have expressed gratitude or perceived gratitude from other.
  • The use of expression“Thank you” in some cases is losing meaning… due to the excessive use of it.
  • Some people express gratitude thru gestures, actions. Some interviewees highlighted giving/receiving a hug, others mentioned a personalized gift.
