You're allowed to be grateful to yourself to. Gratitude is not something that is only expressed to or from other people. Sure, you can be grateful your coworker did not have smelly tuna for lunch, or, your boss can thank you on finishing your project so quickly, BUT you can also be grateful to yourself. You can be grateful that you packed a lunch yesterday night so you don't have to eat out today. You can be grateful you started your project a week ago so you're not scrambling right now. There are many things you do for yourself and you should acknowledge these things, because self care and self love is a great habit to get into. It could also help you become comfortable with expressing and receiving gratitude and make it easier for you to give and accept it.
