No such thing as Being too Grateful

Show those around you how much you care and appreciate them, while you still can.

In high school in my AP Psych class we explored the concept of gratitude. We watched a video clip in which people wrote letters of gratitude to someone who was very influential their life. And then at the end they made them call them and read the letter to them over the phone.

After watching the clip, we did the same. This day I will never forget, because I called my mom and read the letter and we both started crying from joy. Trying to write all she has did for me was extremely hard, because I realized I could never fully say it all. And further brought attention to how much I take for granted and how much I under appreciate her. After being cognizant, I now make more of an effort to express my gratitude all the time. I pull inspiration from finding joy in the little things and bringing joy to others.

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

Don't take those around you for granted. No such thing as being to grateful.
