Monday Morning Meeting

Achievements and thanks, a time and a place.

In my workplace we meet on Monday Mornings and each say an achievement and talk about what we are doing for the week ahead. Although an achievement is meant to be personal, because we are a relatively small team, no personal achievement is ever without thanks to specific other members of the team who have helped to make it happen, and often achievements start with the person saying - this is not my achievement but...

It feels great to thank, and great to be thanked.

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

Gratitude should be all the time, but it helps to give it a time and a place?

Tell us about yourself

It's just personal experience, no research undertaken.

Hi Katie,

Great to see you sharing your provocations around this topic and bringing your voice to the Gratitude Challenge Community!

From the insights shared in your post, we think it may be particularly interesting to for you to attend our Gratitude in the Workplace Webinar with University of Washington positive organizational leadership expert, Ryan Fehr tomorrow, Oct 13 @ 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. He’ll be discussing recommendations for designing Ideas for this topic.

You can register for the webinar here

We hope to see you there!
