First of all I would like to confess that at the time of joining the institution as an asst. prof., I wasn’t much interested in teaching profession and never know the value of gratitude. As the day passes, I was taking keen interest in teaching, delivering deeper knowledge, new tools & techniques for learning to the students. And due to this little extra efforts that put in my teaching pedagogy, gradually I became the favourite teacher of students in my department. They now take keen interest to attend my lecture and got to learn new concepts of study. This make me feel like awesome I am on cloud nine. I received the best feedback by the students. That time I realize the gratitude what is. This is what gratitude to me where I am working that adding value to someone’s life except the syllabus content. Being a teacher is a great responsibility of human being because it is next place after the parents. I have been working since 3.5 years; more than 3 batches have passed out for these college. Some of them headed towards their dreams, few are doing masters, and some are gone to aboard for further studies. Recently on 5th September 2017 celebrated as “Teacher’s day”, I received so many greeting messages, calls from my graduated students.  It was overwhelmed response from them. By seeing this I feel that I am still important person in their life. When they are stuck in any matter, or have some queries they ping me and get the queries solved.  Three students came with a gift on that day. One class brings the cake and celebrated the same with all the staff members. I feels so grateful that from their busy schedule and even after graduating from colleges they somehow manage time to wish and come back to college to celebrate.

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

Adding value to someone's life.
