Further Than Just Gratitude

I will be highlighting my success of being a soccer coach for youth kids and how gratitude played a role in this experience.

While most of us know, kids have a mind of their own and it is very hard to keep them readily engaged in anything they do. For the last two years I have been able to coach youth soccer from the ages of 8 to 10. Through the act of gratitude I have seen immense changes in how the kids progress soccer wise as well as their attention to me. Expressing my thanks to them and giving them positive reinforcement in the things they do on the field help the to constantly be motivated in trying to become better individually. If you focus on the positives with kids, they will want to keep working with you and I can see that playing into the workplace with adults as well. If you are seen as someone who gives genuine thanks, you will be someone that people want to work for and be around.
