Everyone knows how can a city be horrifying without restricted Traffic Laws, most people obey the rules not just because they know that a breakdown of a rule may result in traffic congestion, but since they know they might be watched and everything is under supervision, and while it isn't easy for the new learner drivers to obey the rules first but an experienced driver does everything in a right way even unconsciously. So what if we had a systematic supervision in a society which could conduct and keep everyone in a way of doing anything right. But this time no one should be afraid of getting tickets, and there are not any officer, it is just the people who would have to choose their nominations and encourage them with awards and prizes until this attitude becomes the main part of their culture. I think we cannot consider an organization isolated from the society which it belongs to it, we can not establish a behavior in an organization separated from the whole society, these two can accelerate their pros and cons frequently, but this can not be happening if every organization and the whole society come up under a network. The ego of a moral oriented organization can spread in the nation by its employees so both organization and the society can take advantage of this people’s behavior, so we need an idea that can cover this issue, A structural arrangement of different ideas, product, and services that can lead us to the final result and distribute the culture of respecting each other and being thankful for everyone's job. When I started to work on this challenge after a few days, I came up with a great ideas that could be the best answer, a complete package of different product and services which can get to the point through a designed system, but since I do not have anyone as a group member, it took me too much time and when I wanted to submit my Idea I found many other people who have thought like some parts of my idea but in separated contributions. First I got regret posting my idea, but later I decided to wait until the last day, now you have about 330 contributions that many of them can be a part of this package, and I surprisingly have noticed them all together. So I respectfully recommend using a collection of ideas together to build a constructional gratitude culture alternation network.

----What can be considered as gratitude or even something more important than that in the workplaces?

   1. Smile: Everyone knows smile gives the best feelings. We can just simply appreciate our colleagues job by a simple smile, being happy is much closer than we think. So those who smile more can be surprised by getting more credit in their account. This was the first concept that came to my mind and I am sure it worth it to work spreading happiness to the workplaces since smiling is contagious.

   2. Meaning: Yes, we know happiness is important, But there is something more important than that, Emily Esfahani Smith rounds up the latest research and the stories of fascinating people she interviewed to argue that the search for meaning is far more fulfilling than the pursuit of personal happiness. She believes having the meaning is more important than happiness in our lives, And the studies show that people who have the meaning in their life, they're more resilient, they do better in school and at work, and they even live longer. She has mentioned that belonging, purpose, transcendence, and storytelling are the four pillars of meaning. I put her Tedtalk speech link in below for more information, but I just came up with my idea more and more strongly believable as much as I listened to her voice, this concept completely support all those four pillars and their aspects in people’s life. ----Concept embodiment consists of these features:

  1. An application:

The whole concept would be organized and control with an oriented application which consists of this features:

-Compatible with very organization corporate identity

-Private page for everyone

-Statistics of employees thankfulness and overall behaviors reports

-User-friendly and easy to use for finding someone’s information who should be graded because of his or her great values by the user

-Introducing the first place to third every month

-Different option to choose as a prize for the winner of the month

-Facilitate interaction among employees; Everyday advise of how to behave

-A room for sharing ideas and abilities; Connected to a big network of social media and places

-Using unique graphically symbols for measuring the amount of appreciation atmosphere like emojis which are known to everyone

2. Brand Identity

This is the core part of the concept that supports the idea to flow through a strong, unique and well-known corporate brand identity which should have known by everyone in the society. Everyone knows the Pink Ribbon, it is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. It identifies the wearer or promoter with the breast cancer brand and expresses moral support for women with breast cancer. When you see this symbol or any other Awareness Ribbons that are symbols meant to show support or raise consciousness for a cause in different colors, you will immediately get the whole concept of this signs and most of all you get the person who has worn it as someone that support this movement.

This concept can work like an awareness of the importance of gratitude which all people should know about it and respect and benefit of its outcomes. I believe we should have a developed movement like this achieving to the final hole of the project. Designing a powerful brand Identity is the key to success, a collection of products and signs that having them is a prestigious reason for everyone who is being proud of his or her action across the communities.

3. Products

Designed collections of product with a strong brand identity, Small trophies, something like promotional gifts that winner can carry them all everywhere as a symbol of his or her honors. Winners can custom made how and what to receive their prizes.

4. Services

Wiring a big network of company and places, those who want to use this opportunity as their promotional stage also. .Connected to many other social media like Instagram, Skype, Facebook to share everyone’s honors as a member of a society. .Connected to business and employment-oriented social networking services like LinkedIn, Indeed, Jobster,… to find a better job or position as a member of an organization. .Connected to the banks, restaurants, shops, gyms, beauty salons or any other places that want to be a part of this movement to give the prize.

Every organization will be convinced by following up the benefits of this movement when they see how other companies take advantages of it, then we just let the compete part of the business world does its job. So it becomes bigger and bigger and helps us to reach out our purpose, Spreading An Intellectual Heritage of Gratitude through the whole society.

Idea Title

MEANINGFUL LIFE

How the Idea will inspire the experience and expression of gratitude within an organization.

Every month people who know how to appreciate their colleagues will be awarded the prizes. These prizes are not just a product, ceremony, gift card or any different type of those, a big range of option under a branded idea that every company can choose among them bases but can be a by the time you see this brand symbols and signs belongs to everyone, you will find him or her as a respectful person who would have appreciated because of his or her attitude.

Who are you innovating for?

Everyone who works

What type of workplaces are you innovating for?

Every organization can use this idea

How you envision the Idea being introduced to your selected organization?

An introduction workshop for the employees to be announced about the project should be held. Human recourse in the company will follow up the stream Everyone who wants to be a part of this can download the application Every day they can grade their colleagues' behavior on their devices, using a high-end technology like Face Recognition to find the person’s page information People can record their colleagues' best action, it is not a place to complain about something By giving everyone’s credit, people can be benefited from some sort of advantages themselves Those who have been selected as the best one can choose how to take their advantage Winners can choose how to use their credits

What obstacles, if any, do you foresee in implementing this Idea, and how would they be overcome?

Since this is a big movement, it needs to be managed strictly and constantly move forward to get the final result

How will you test and prototype your solution?

After everything is designed and gathered it can be used step by step and contribute in multiple phases. I will try to convince a company to test the project.

What immediate next steps will you take if you receive an implementation grant.

This would be an honor to be selected and since this is a great movment and cannot be done alone, I wish I can have a sponsor like IDEO to work on this project which can help our nation.

At what stage of development is your Idea?

  • Research & Early Testing: You are exploring an idea, gathering inspiration and information needed to test it with real users.

Please describe from where your Idea emerged

I have worked in an educational department, I come from a culture which appreciation is a big part of it, smiling each other, complementing and many other more, but ever since I moved here I found something is missing even in our everyday relationship, I do not know why everytime I say thank you in every place I just get back this sound "UHUM", this was strang and I can not stand it, so when I saw this challenge I thought this might be a great opportunity to work on this problem and its aspects.

Tell us about yourself

I am a former faculty member of Industrial Design Department, Azad University, Tehran/Iran I had taught for 18 years as an instructor and used to practice Design Thinking approach with my students in the class and through their projects. I do not contribute my idea just for the winning, but this is my honor if this idea can bring the lost part of our life back to it, The meaning.
