Dining with management and coming to common ground.
In our organization, management that is one or two levels above doesn't have time to get to know those under them. In having a one on one lunch to show gratitude to an employee this allows someone have the ear of management for that hour.
How the Idea will inspire the experience and expression of gratitude within an organization.
This idea is an expression of gratitude for either a job well done or doing something for someone and allows that person to meet someone they normally don't get a chance to talk to.
Who are you innovating for?
The people of our organization will be motivated to get the ear of management.
What type of workplaces are you innovating for?
Any medium to large size organization where there is little face to face with upper management.
How you envision the Idea being introduced to your selected organization?
It will be introduced in an email and people would have to select someone for this through a peer award process. We would need a committee from upper management to select the winner. We would need upper management and that person to make a plan for lunch.
What obstacles, if any, do you foresee in implementing this Idea, and how would they be overcome?
Money, time of management, selection criteria.

Test in a small department first and then expend.

Our section at work had a gratitude workshop led by me and came up with this idea as we felt that we don't get much face time with management.
