Feedup is a web-base application where we want to everyone in the company to feel rewarded and recognized. Based on our design research, we found that everyone stay in very different working environment, and is hard to design a physical workplace to address the problem of gratitude. So we want to use Feedup to build a feedback system where employees could feel that their work is recognized, and mangers can do a better job on team building, project management. We want to create a positive, humanistic working culture and the final goal is inspire experiences and expressions of gratitude in the workplace.
The key elements of Feedup:
Users can see their work performance on the dashboard, and the performance is not only base on how much time they spend on their project, but more importantly we want to use natural language processing to sentiment analysis their feedback data.
Feedback box is the place where they can see their own feedback (Alerts (new feedbacks）/ previous feeds). We will have Suggest some hashtags in the bottom of the feedback box, the goal of this suggestion algorithm is to help everyone give better and valuable feedback. They can add all kinds of media pictures/videos/emoji, etc. to make their feedback playful. Once everyone knew the feedback they got are valuable, they will start request and give more feedback, so we build a ecosystem where people can share their thoughts and experiences.
There will be a project finder. We don't want to people using this for track the process of their projects, there are many tools help professionals do that. In Feedup, the project finder is a place people can take notes, mark questions of their projects. And it's where shows how many feedback you’ve got, in which process of the project you got the feedback.
The value of Feedup:
In this design challenge, we speed lot of time thinking how to create gratitude in workplace. And we found out the feeling of gratitude is a mico-interaction and it is depends on every individuals. We knew that employees want the support for peers and leaders, and mangers want create humanistic feeling in their teams. So we create Feedup, the tool for better working culture in here people share, grew, and be gratitude .
