Giorgia Tech Lorraine (in France) has a Master's double degree program (http://lorraine.gatech.edu/fr/graddoubledegree) with top French engineering schools.

Students on the French side, attend their Master's classes in Atlanta and students on the US side follow classes at partner French engineering schools.

I believe that the experiences of all of the students that had the opportunity to follow this program could be of direct interest to the OpenIDEO discussion.

Tell us about your work experience:

10 years of advanced R&D in the field of semiconductors, following 8 years of higher education (Masters & PhD) during which I have followed classes and mentored students who are now successfull in their own career paths.

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

Travelling and following classes abroad is a great way of experiencing new ways of learning and extending your perspective on knowledge.

Hi Julien!

Thank you for sharing this Master's program with us? Is this Master's equally recognized in the US and in France?

Hello Kate,
The program delivers both degrees and is thus, at minimum, equally recognized in the US and in France. On my opinion, its value is larger than the sum of its parts!
