Allow students to focus on tests they'll face in the real world. Taking on ambiguous tasks, defining problems, and presenting solutions.

Rather than focus on tests and quizzes which generate a baseline knowledge with specific definitions, at the end of the day, the skills most relevant for employees to develop are the soft skills acquired through the ever-daunting group project. Sure, it's great to know what the four P's are for Marketing 101, but it would be much more valuable to learn them by launching an actual product over the course of the semester. Finding ways to translate typical class work into meaningful experiences can redefine secondary education, training students to be willing and able to attack projects like this and also give them a valuable repertoire of experiences to leverage in their early careers. 

Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine higher education to support the needs of tomorrow?

It is designed for students who crave more than reading textbooks and attending lectures. A broad adaptation of this across multiple educational interests (i.e. marketing, biology, fine arts, truly anything) could revolutionize the approach to real world learning and drive creative success moving forward.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

Work with former student clubs to find volunteers to tackle a small scale (3-4wk) project.
