It has a large number of youth unemployment that leads them to drug abuse and crime.

Challenges: Describe the current (2020) and the future (2050) challenges that your food system faces.

Through the state of the country's economy leaving the youth and their family members unemployed, without jobs the communities are facing malnutrition because no one is able to take of the family and buy healthy food.  

Address the Challenges: Describe how your Vision will address the challenges described in the previous question.

By providing the youth of Khayelitsha with skills development programs that will allow them to be able to be employed or be self employed and be able to support their families.

High Level Vision: With these challenges addressed, now provide a high level description of how the Place and the lives of its People will be different than they are now.

In these difficult times of the South African economy, the youth of South Africa communities needs something to bring back that lost hope of support to able to be leaders of tomorrow and grow stable families and also be able to put something on a table for their families. To accomplish this goal, young people must be active, inclusive and conducive community environment that reinforces personal respect through community leadership, educational and entrepreneurship programs.
