Urban Vertical Farming on or beside the Drainage System.

My vision is to construct a waste water treatment plant and Vertical framing on it, to utilize max waste water for use.

Challenges: Describe the current (2020) and the future (2050) challenges that your food system faces.

Due to urbanization and rapidly increasing of the city turn into a concrete jungle with replacing agricultural lands in the city, this will lead a shortage of food production and fresh water in coming years. 

Address the Challenges: Describe how your Vision will address the challenges described in the previous question.

My idea is to utilize the available land and water to produce food products in urban areas by implementing vertical farming on  drainage canals.

Design:

designing wastewater treatment plant on drainage canal and constructing a vertical farm and rainwater harvesting storage system on it.

This creates new land/area for cultivation.

Treatment wastewater and rainwater harvested water is used for agricultural purposes and for aquaculture purpose.

Electricity:

Generating electricity by solar panels.

Uses:

Maintains the constant weather conditions

Reduce the transport

Food production throughout the year

Create agri tech jobs in urban areas


  

High Level Vision: With these challenges addressed, now provide a high level description of how the Place and the lives of its People will be different than they are now.

creates new jobs in this field and by increasing the agri and aqua production everyone will have sufficient food to eat at their cost.

Full Vision: How do you describe your Vision for a regenerative and nourishing food future for your Place and People for 2050?

We can create a new areas for agriculture and aquaculture production and by using the wastewater helps to reduce the polluting of rivers and environment.
