We selected this as our place because it’s where the majority of our school district partners are today. It's also the place so many of our team and Board members live. We believe the extended Bay Area, our community, has the potential to truly achieve this food vision and be a light for other communities around the world. If anywhere in the world can do it, the Bay Area can! It’s the leading technology center of the world, it's where progressive food movements have taken root before and it’s in California which is considered the salad bowl of the United States. The Bay Area has incredible and diverse culinary traditions as well as a passion for innovation that can help us all reconnect with real food. More to come - work in progress.

What if our food nourished the next generation and our planet? What if our kids fell in love with real food and that inspired us all to as well? What if what we ate supported happy and long lives from the farmers who grew to the people who enjoyed it? What if it was grown in a way that regenerated our planet?
