Zambia is a country in central Africa with a stable government that is ideal to launch the GrowNut concept.

Peanuts are cultivated in most African Countries. The Peanut plants are drought resistant and can be planted without any fertiliser decause it can fix nitrogen from the air. Local people plant and harvest it by hand and is ideal for job creation.
African people are used to consume peanuts as food and mix it into their porridge or marogo.
Almost 50 persent of the peanuts are pressed for the oil that are used as cooking oil. The oilcake contains 48 persent protein and are currently wasted.
The GrowNut concept make it possible to utilise the oilcake to enrich any local porridge like Maize Sorghum Millet or Cassava with Peanut Protein. This innovation can solve the Stunting and Malnutrition that occurs due to the lack of protein.
The process is easy and replicable. It can be processed in any village because the oil can be converted into Biodiesel to generate fuel for the Processing Plant.
One ton of peanuts can produce 24 000 GrowNut servings of 100g plus 350 lt Bio-diesel.
The extrution process has the following advantage :
1. The peanut/ maize blend are precooked with friction that are economic viable.
2. All E-coli Salmonella or mold are sterilized in the cooking process.
3. Aflatoxin are reduced by up to 50 persent.
4. All free moisture evaporate after the extrution process that gives a dry product with a long shelf life.
5. All essential amino acids vitamins and minerals are added before packaging.

Our biggest challenge is to get the Intellectual property into Africa without losing everything. The problem is that African Countries does not protect IP.
Our vision is that every African country can be self sustainable with high protein porridge and less dependant on US aid.
We need a Big Brother like the Rochefeller Trust to out roll the GrowNut concept in Africa and the rest of the world.

The Stunting of children can be solved during the first 1000 days.
The pregnant women can benefit from GrowNut porridge that contains 17 persent protein to give birth to a well developed baby.
The newborn baby will consume Peanut Protein via the breast milk.
The infant can easily be weaned on GrowNut porridge because it is palatable with a natural peanut taste.
The toddler can grow to his/ her full potential with all the essential amino acids vitamins and minerals.
Peanut Protein are prescribed for diabetes because it regulates the blood sugar levels.
GrowNut porridge has a long shelf life and can easily be consumed by just adding boiled water or milk.
